Blood will darken from bright candy-apple red to a deep burgundy, like black cherries, after a few days. A color stabilizer is included, which can create a red wine hue, if desired. Once stopper is inserted, be sure to turn the vial over at least a dozen times to mix well. Glue is included and should be applied to inside of silver cap to prevent coverage on the glass vial. End caps may need to be cleaned occasionally with silver cleaning wipe to shine from normal darkening due to oxidation.
